The Statesman Motor Inn is located just a short walk from the Corowa town centre where our guests regularly enjoy a variety of cafes, restaurants and shopping. Take a leisurely stroll down to the river or pay a visit to the renowned local RSL Club where entertainment is often scheduled.

Just a short drive away you’ll find the local Chocolate and Whiskey Factory, the All Saints Estate or numerous other family-owned wineries for your pleasure and enjoyment.

You may also wish to take advantage of the numerous bike and walking trails along the Murray River including the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. And with Lake Mulwala nearby, you might choose to spend your days swimming, fishing, canoeing or waterskiing.  The choices are endless!

    Federation Festval - January

    A celebration of the ‘birth of Federation’ in Corowa. Festivities include market stalls, food stalls and entertainment all day with the night capped off with a huge fireworks display.


    Day on the Green - February

    Open air concert held on the grounds of the All Saints Estate. A fantastic array of talented musicians along with great food and wine.


    Tastes of Rutherglen - March

    Tastes of Rutherglen is a combination of local wineries, chefs and producers joining forces to host regional Victoria’s ultimate gourmet party!

    Annual GPA Swim & Military Vehicle Rally - March

    Corowa has become the largest military vehicle rally under the Southern Cross and is attended by guests and participants alike from all over the world. In increasing numbers every year now, those who own and restore ex-military vehicles from all eras and all nations gather together at Corowa to trade vehicles, parts and stories.


    Australian Billy Cart Championships - April

    This is an event for all ages with competitors racing down the main street in their homemade or professionally created designs. Sanger Street is the centre of racing action with entertainment and activities for all the family.


    Corowa Easter Lawn Tennis Tournament - Easter

    The Easter Lawn Tennis Tournament will be held at the Corowa Lawn Tennis courts over the Easter long weekend. With 36 events there is sure to be an event for any age group or skill level.


    Winery Walkabout - June

    This popular event is held on the long weekend in June every year. A fun festival that combines music, food, and wine and involves all the regions wineries.
